ANTELOPE COUNTY PLANNING COMMISSION

PUBLIC NOTICE

The Antelope County Planning Commission will hold a public meeting and public hearings on Tuesday, February 20, 2018 in the County Commissioners’ meeting room at the Antelope County Courthouse beginning at 12:30 pm.  The meeting is open to the public.  All interested parties are welcome to attend. 

A public hearing will be held at 12:30 p.m. regarding an amendment for corrections to the Zoning Regulations. 

A public hearing will be held at 1:00 p.m. regarding the Conditional Use Permit for Cody Schacht for a seed warehouse and sales office on a tract in the NW ¼ NE ¼ 12-27N-5W.  As of 2-10-18, the Schacht hearing has been postponed to a later date.

Section 8.09  Impact Easements for Proposed Livestock Feeding Operations

  1. The owner of a proposed new or expanded LFO that requests to build closer than allowed in Table 8.09.01 shall be required to obtain an Impact Easement from any other operations or residences within the required separation distance, and shall be held to the minimum conditions, as well as any others agreed upon by both parties;

    1. An owner or owners of an existing LFO or residence and associated facilities that will be encroached upon may be allowed to expand in the future even though the expansion may encroach into their required separation distances.

    2. Such minimum distance shall be measured from the nearest point of the area used or approved under this Resolution for the animal feeding or waste handling use, to such dwelling.

    3. Application of waste which in solid form to the surface of the land, the application of composted waste or the injection of liquid or slurry waste into the soil shall not be subject to the minimum spacing distance herein specified.

ANTELOPE COUNTY BOARD OF ADJUSTMENT

NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING

Notice is hereby given that the Antelope County Board of Adjustment will hold a public hearing on June 27, 2017 at 10:00 a.m. at the Antelope County Courthouse to review an application #V1702 submitted by Meis and Sons LLC for a variance of the front setback located on the NW ¼ Sec. 8, Twp.23N, R6W.

The application may be examined in the office of the Antelope County Zoning Administrator during normal business hours prior to the public hearing.  All interested parties may offer oral comments at the public hearing and/or may file written comments with the Antelope County Board of Adjustment provided such written comments are received by the Board prior to the public hearing.  Written comments may be mailed to: Antelope County Board of Adjustment, 501 Main Street, Rm. 3, Neligh NE 68756.
